Excellent wordle, Katie! Thanks for sharing it. A key point that you brought up is that excellent teaching will lead to high test scores. As teachers we need to be mindful of our instruction every minute of the day. Extensive writing and reading by the students along with excellent instruction will lead to academic gains by our students. We cannot expect our students to make strides in their learning by teaching primarily to the tests.
Thats a great wordle. It really sums it up quite well and is very professional looking. I hope you enjoyed the book as much as I did. I feel like a much better writing teacher now.
High expectations and extensive writing were the two phrases that stood out to me most! After reading more about writing fluency, I really see the power of giving students sustained-silent writing time each day!
Love the wordle! Professional conversations are what we are having here on this blog! I think it's safe to say we have all learned things from each other through the blogs. Me included!
